I love the name! It just sounds sooo romantic!
She and mommy are healthy and well!
So amazing
and Beautiful!

Chrissy: Memorial Day

Just some fun pics from Memorial Day
We traveled around to 5 different cemeteries in Southern Utah

Found out that by taking a picture of your reflection in the car
window can be a cool affect

Chrissy: Food to die for

This is Swatti
She is a student at BYU from Nepal
She's living with us for a while and I love her to death!

Every saturday evening she makes us some delish
Nepalese food. We have to eat it with our hand!
So fun!
Here we have Chicken Korma, rice and a vegetable mix of potatoes and eggplant.

We get to eat this after my graduation on Thursday
HAPPY DAY!

Chrissy: Drama drama

One of the best things about having a sister close to your age
is that you can go all crazy with each other
and neither one cares.
Lately me and Cora have been into the whole
Soap opera, super dramatic scenes.
We always turn a simple sentence into a huge deal.
Like today:
Chris: We should buy this song. Its really good.
Cora: *gives me a weird look*
Chris: Coralee, you need to trust me.
Cora: How can I trust you anymore?
Chris: Ok look, I know we've had a rough week, but please, I just need you to trust me.
Cora: *looks at me, shakes her head and walks towards the door*
Chris: *in a raised voice* You used to trust me!
Cora: But I can't now. And I never will again. *slams the door*
Haha, very fun.

Chrissy: PS sketch of sickness

Working on my illustration style
this was done in Photoshop
it was the worst.
I need to get used to it
This is like a sketch vomit, or something.
Hopefully I'll get better!

Or darker.
Or redder. Haha

And below is the picture of Cora that won first place in the Studio Section. And 3rd place over all!! Happiness! Sorry, its such a bad picture of the picture. Maybe I'll upload the real file soon.

Chrissy: Traginess of my life...

So Prom was a little while ago.
I didn't get asked :(
Guess I'm just not that appealing.
But Cor went, and she looked stunning in her dress bought in Cali!
At the end of the date her date gave her a crown and slipper, saying that even tho it was past midnight, she was still a princess to him.

She's my fav!

Chrissy: Senior Pics

Oh what a fun thing! Senior pics with Aunt Connie!
Hope you like some of my favs!

Chrissy: Matting

Today I cut mats for my quality pieces for my AP art portfolio.
Oh my goodness! What a struggle.

I had to use one of these complicated babies.
Messed up three times!
Let me tell you about how long it takes to make 5 mats:
5 hours.
Plus you have to make the foam core to put on the back.

Also had to use this little beaut.
Ended up cutting my pinky.

There were no band-aids in the art room (go figure)
So I got creative and used a tissue and wrap it up in masking tape :D
Thus creating a little cast for my poor finger.

I will so be glad when this is over.
