Chrissy: Sweater in Tree Finished Project.

I didn't like doing this assignment
And I was a little miffed about how it turned out.
 BUT
Ping Pong crazed teacher loved it!
Well...
He liked it.
Out of 22 art pieces from our class he chose 2 to critique and then the class chose 2 others.
Well teacher chose mine to critique first!
Happy day!
I was worried i wouldn't really do well in his class
because he prefers abstract art.
And I'm a realist.
But I was pleased that this piece was a success.

*sigh*...I love reading about your college adventures. :) And I love your art. Every time I get on here I think how I really ought to get my dusty pencils out. I can totally relate to this quote:
"Just slap anything on when you see a blank canvas staring you in the face like some imbecile. You don't know how paralyzing that is, that stare of a blank canvas is, which says to the painter, ‘You can't do a thing’. The canvas has an idiotic stare and mesmerizes some painters so much that they turn into idiots themselves. Many painters are afraid in front of the blank canvas, but the blank canvas is afraid of the real, passionate painter who dares and who has broken the spell of `you can't' once and for all.” ~Vincent Van Gogh
