Chrissy: On Winter.

There are many who hate winter.
I actually like it.
I have a pretty high tolerance of cold (most of the time).
My only problem with winter is the fact that my dorm room is FREEZING when it snows.
And I don't like to be cold when I sleep.
Who does?
So, I know you all are thinking, "Oh my goodness! How does she stay warm at night?"
I'll show you.
Below you see me in my summer pajamas.
Then you see all the articles of clothing I put on before I go to bed during the winter.
A hat. A scarf. A jacket (over my shirt). Sweats. Long socks. And a water bottle full of hot water.
After this I climb into bed where I get under a fleece blanket, then a thick quilt, and finally my bead spread.
Sometimes this works.
Sometimes I'm still cold.
Such is life.

Ha, you sound like my roommate! But, I, for one, can not sleep unless it's cold. I still open the window, and have still turned on my fan in the past week. I normally sleep in shorts, a t-shirt, and I normally sleep ONLY under the sheet. My roommate, on the other hand, sleeps in long pants, socks, hoodie, and has multiple blankets on her bed.. Yep, you'd get along.

I can only sleep when it is cold, too! But my silly roommate turns the heater up and shuts the window! Haha! Was this post possibly inspired by my rant? ;)

OMG- K I think I'm like happy medium. I love to be warm, but not too warm... story time. So one time Jaci (my brother's wife's 18-yr-old sister) spent the night at my house and she likes to be VERY warm when she sleeps. Oh my gosh... I turned on the heater for her and then we went to sleep. Ok we fetching had that thing on ALL NIGHT and I was DYING!! Early the next morning I woke up and was way hot so I went upstairs where it was about 20 degrees cooler and laid down on the nice, cold leather couch. haha! But I have been known to layer it on at Mia Shalom! ;)
