Chirssy: Controversy

for some reason my art pieces are either absolutely loved

or absolutely hated.

Haha this one is another rendition of Alice from Twilight.

Apparently it looks like a gay guy

I snorted when I read that comment.

Most people just don't understand my style of art.

Overall the profile is very James Christensen-ish

and the hair was inspired by Katie Holme's pixie cut.

But mostly I was just practicing skin tone on photoshop.

Because that's all illustrators use now a days.

Chrissy: i've been inspired

I've beein inspired by friend Jon to put a little of my poetry up :)

Its no where near as good as his

so you should go read his too.

Here it is:

No pit is deeper

Nor blacker or cursed

Than thy great reaper

In which I'm submersed

Release me! Reviled beast

For I have learned well

That when the clouds appear eased

Their anger will swell

Catch me not upon thy claw

Let thy teeth not tear

How much hate would you draw?

How much claim of my fear?

No, leave in my lightless pit

For on my brow, death doth sit.

its a little darker than i remember it being...

but oh well. I've never really tried to write a happy poem... :P

Chrissy:Childrens' book

So here are some of my favorite pictures from my

first attempt at writing a childrens' book as an assignment for my creative writing class.

Its called The Dream Giver and will never be published

because the story is rather weak, and i'm sure the illustrations

are "politically incorrect".

But i had fun all the same.
