Chrissy: Peterella

This is for friend Erica.
She and I are plot buddies :)
We always bounce ideas off of each other over facebook and text
haha its rather fun.
Sometimes it takes us DAYS to come up with even a name.
We're having a competition to see who can finish their story first.
And she is winning by about 50 pages XD
This particular idea was originally a mix of Cinderella and Peter Pan combined.
However, our extensive discussion it has changed a lot!
But I have yet to change the name.
So here's a little snippet (don't worry if it doesn't really make sense)

"Stupid Lost Boys," I muttered to myself as I stomped through Neverland's thick underbrush. They were all for fun and games and adventure until it came time to actually help someone. Then they, of course, care for none of it! Typical boys.

And so I continued by myself, not knowing where I was going but knowing that I had to get SOMEWHERE. Justin wasn't going to go unrescued. I balked slightly thinking about the fact that I was suppose to be the one to save him. Me, boring, unnoticeable Macey. Lucky for me I had read enough adventure books as a young girl that I was sure I could come up with something.  My strategy thus far? Go with the flow and improvise.

I sighed at how pathetic and completely useless I was.

As if to further prove my point I tripped. With a screech I tumbled head first down the side of a slick slope. I threw my arms out trying to grasp something that would help me stop. But Neverland was out to get me and I could actually feel the ground beneath me shift upwards, increasing my momentum. Now summersaulting out of control I swore I would get my revenge. I'd start a forest fire, chop down trees, litter...

"Oof!" my plotting was cut short as my body slammed against something hard. Groaning I pushed myself up into a sitting position. Not the most pleasant of ways to stop, but I would take it. Placing a hand on my now throbbing head I looked around. Straight into the eyes of a giant bird like beast.

tell me what you think!

Chrissy: The post of a dear sisters 17th birthday

Sister Cora wanted me to post a super long note on her facebook thing for her 17th birthday. Needless to say it got a little out of hand haha
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COR!

Happy birthday again. This is the time when I divulge unto you all of my magnificent meticulous knowledge that I have spent hard years learning and understanding. Some of the knowledge has been learned the HARD way. Such as never upset your sister so much that she decides to throw shoes and you, run to your room, lock it and dump out all of your makeup drawer onto the ground. Also. do not leave your clothes in the bathroom, younger sisters do not enjoy that at all. Some lessons I have learned from teachers. North, East, South, West. Never eat soggy waffles. Some I have picked up off the street. Elbows up side to side, elbelbows up and side to side. Lean like a cholo. Some i have learned from our parents. Chew with your mouth closed ( i know you struggle with this one, but keep it up. someday those lax jaw muscles will strengthen!), look both ways before you cross the street, and always try to find pictures in spilled milk (even tho you don't like milk. and you wonder why

you have chicken legs. Jk you really don't). Somethings I just happen upon. Did you know that Chronicles of Narnia is freakin amazing??? Holy crap! And then Freak Harry potter just blows my mind! PS. Mt. Everest in Nepal is INDEED the tallest mountain in the world. Also blue and yellow mixed together equals green, cool huh! And you thought I couldn't do math. But prolly the best thing I've learned is that rocking out to music and laughing about how stupid we are is so ridiculously (look I can spell that word now!) fun. And I'm glad I have a sister/ best friend so close to me. Dude we can basically talk about anything (really???? Do your teeth touch??? EW!). Its super crazy and awesome. Thank goodness we were born so close together! From dancing around with out panties on as a little girl (for those of you reading this, get your head out of the gutter) you've turned into this super gorgeous girl-- a sassy mexican spice!
Love you lots Cora, corona, coraloralee, cor the boar ( i don't think I've ever called you that to your face...), and last but not least Coralee!
loves,
me

Chrissy: Harry Potter Dark Mark T-Shirt

So I saw HP last night.
It was BRILLIANT!
I made a Dark Mark t-shirt for the occasion
for a fan I think I was a little under dressed, but that's ok.
I liked it :)

The mess.
This is why I paint t-shirts while my mom isn't home.
(p.s. I cut my bangs. You like?)

Chrissy: Simple love.

Sometimes I think my sketches
have so much more charm than my paintings
So I kept this one as is
the words say
B: What up?
G: Nothing much <3

Chrissy: Light Fishing

This was taken when the fam went fishing up in Alpine.
Twas fun. Well... I didn't really fish. I sat and drew. But Clarissa did! She can hook her own worm and everything.
I think I may paint this one day.

Chrissy: Yes, I can indeed do henna

Yes, Erica, I can do henna
below is Cora's hand

K I had to do Nepalese friend Swati's hand for her cousin's wedding
Stress!
But I muddled through.
Henna is by FAR the hardest medium I have ever had to work with.
But I think that was because we bought a crappy kind.
It was way too dry.

Chrissy: Super short trip

We went to Idaho for a day to drop brother Cameron (below)
off a BYU for AFY
So we got to Rexburg and went to check into Super8
Now, I have 8 people in my family. Seems perfect right?
Not so. Its against Idaho state law to have that many people in the suit we had reserved.
Kinda ridiculous. We've always done that. Mom and dad in one bed, girl (3) in the other
and boys (3) on the floor.
So they wanted to sell us TWO rooms that weren't even close to each other.
So that the kids would have to be split up.
Not very safe.
So we said nix and went to Best Western and took their family sized suit instead.

Note the tie-dye shirt I'm wearing.
Totally made it at art camp.
On the way back we stopped at my Grandma's house in Bountiful
and Picked up three extra kids
my cousins from Vegas :)

Chrissy: Old photo shoot

Photoshoot gone awry.
It was dark and cloudy and rainy
so we dressed cor in all black and planned to do a rain shoot
We even brought a spray bottle to get her hair wet with.
As soon as we got on location it turned sunny
and we started to spray cora's hair with the spray bottle
but instead of water it ended up being bleach!
It was funny.
But we got a few images.

Chrissy: Pretty watercolor brushes painting

Chrissy: T-shirt painting party

Yesterday Cora and her friends decided to have a t-shirt painting party
and decided to join, cuz I was bored
This lady Katelyn and Cousin (not really) Geo made transformer shirts
I made an aslan shirt!
But I did black instead of red and splattered it with paint
so you can't really tell that its connected with Narnia.
